This piece emerged completely unexpectedly. I began without a clear idea of where it was heading and allowed instinct to take over, letting the colours, forms and energy reveal themselves along the way.

As it developed, it took on a wild and playful character, full of movement, vibrancy and a touch of rebellion. I wanted it to bring energy into a room, something bold enough to command attention, yet playful enough to spark curiosity and joy. There is a sense of animal spirit, paired with bold colour and a little bit of spice.

For me, this painting sits between opposites. It feels both playful and forceful, chaotic and deliberate.
